We ended up in some random italian place on 70-something street.

We had our winter holiday in 2012, in which Timo insisted to stay with Marian on his trip to New York--turned out pretty good.

Timo landed in New York and needed a buddy to help him bring stuff back to Kent. Marian said Yes.

We hobo-ed the streets of Hong Kong waiting for our flight to our Tanah Air. Kid you not, students were working in HKU at 3am when we popped by.

We got a lovely couple seat right at the back of our flights, for BOTH connecting flights.

Our first wedding together. Untold: Marian spent a lot of hours on Shen's dress.

An awesome time in Boston also for Serene Chua. The only beanie Timo didn't lose.

The best surprise Timo ever got was Marian coming to Pittsburgh on his birthday. Marian had two overnight bus delays from Pittsburgh and back cos snow.

We spent a lot of hours on skype, twice a week as Marian lived in New York and Timo in Pittsburgh

This house was creaky, but cosy nonetheless. Timo's time in Pittsburgh began here, mostly.

Marian's first time getting gas in the states. New York does a poor job with automobile education.

We just hung out in this city a lot. Timo would take an overnight bus on Friday and leave on an overnighter on Saturday

We squashed all of Marian's belongings into Timo's HHR, bought specifically for the trip. We saw too much roadkill on the way to Pittsburgh.

Had a lot of sugar thanks to the dope pastry table.

Which is why Timo thinks that Pittsburgh Chinese Food isn't as great.

Had a fun 12 hour drive to this place. Surprised that Timo's HHR made it there and back.

An amazing time by the water. We had a cherry tomato event after.

Fun time with them at a Hong Kong tai chow in Cleveland. Jonathan is an apple nerd.

Right before Marian left for Malaysia saying Goodbye to the US after a good six and a half years.

Timo basically fumbled in the sun and prematurely popped the question causing our friends to miss the real thing. Not to worry, here's a reenactment:

We spent a year in long-distance relationship after we got engaged, until Timo came home in December--FOR GOOD.

Getting to know each others family became routine when Timo moved back to Malaysia
